German Cockroaches Control
German cockroaches are the small light-brown roaches that infest kitchens, bathrooms, and apartment buildings. They reproduce fast, resist most over-the-counter sprays, and trigger asthma. We treat with a documented prep checklist so the first visit actually works — and follow-up is included.

Quick answer
Why don't over-the-counter sprays work on German cockroaches?
German cockroaches have widespread resistance to common pyrethroid sprays, and store-bought products almost never reach the harborage areas inside cabinet voids and appliances where the colony actually lives. Professional gel baits and IGRs delivered into those voids are the only reliable approach.
How to identify german cockroaches
Adult German cockroaches are 1/2 to 5/8" long, light brown to tan, with two dark parallel stripes behind the head. Nymphs are nearly black with a single light stripe and are wingless. Egg cases (oothecae) are 1/4" long, brown, and contain 30–40 eggs each.
Behavior & life cycle
German cockroaches prefer warm, humid spaces — under sinks, behind dishwashers, around water heaters, and inside small motor compartments. They are nocturnal; seeing them in daylight usually means a heavy infestation. A single female and her offspring can produce 30,000+ cockroaches in a year under ideal conditions.
Health & property risks
Cockroach allergens (saliva, droppings, shed skins) are a leading asthma trigger in children, recognized by the CDC. They mechanically spread bacteria including E. coli and salmonella by walking through waste and then across food prep surfaces.

Frequently asked questions
How do I prep my kitchen for cockroach treatment?+
Empty all kitchen and bathroom cabinets — especially under sinks and around the dishwasher. Bag dishes and food, leave 3 feet of clearance in front of the fridge and stove, and remove personal items from bathroom cabinets. We provide a full written checklist.
Will I see more roaches right after treatment?+
Yes — for 7–10 days you may see increased activity. That is normal and means the treatment is driving them out of harborage to feed on bait. Do not spray; it cancels the bait.
How long until they're gone?+
Most kitchens are visibly clear within 2–3 weeks, with a follow-up visit to break any remaining egg cycle.
